Service & scheduling

What areas of Denver do you serve?

We're based in Denver and serve homes and small businesses across the city and surrounding communities, including Capitol Hill, Cherry Creek, Congress Park, Park Hill, Washington Park, Five Points, Central Park, Aurora, Lakewood, Englewood, and Glendale. See our service areas page for the full list.

How do I request service?

Use the Request a Quote form on our contact page. Tell us what's happening with your system and we'll review your request and reach out.

Do you offer emergency service?

We take urgent service requests and confirm availability and timing when you contact us. Reach out through the quote form and note that it's an emergency so we can prioritize it. We don't promise round-the-clock coverage — we'll be honest about what we can do.

Do you work on both heating and cooling?

Yes. We service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality systems — the full range of residential and light-commercial HVAC.

Repairs

Should I turn off my AC if it's not cooling?

If the air is warm or you notice ice on the lines, turning the system off and switching the fan to 'on' can help prevent further strain while you wait for service. We can walk you through this when you request a quote.

My furnace isn't producing heat — what should I do?

Check that the thermostat is set to heat and is calling for warmth, and confirm the unit has power. If it still won't start, request service. If you suspect a gas leak or smell gas, leave the home and call your gas utility or 911 from a safe distance before contacting us.

Is a burning smell when the furnace starts normal?

A brief dusty smell when a furnace first runs for the season can be normal as dust burns off. A persistent or electrical burning smell is not — turn the system off and request service.

Installation & replacement

How do I know what size HVAC system I need?

Heating and cooling capacity should match your home's load, which depends on square footage, ceiling height, insulation, windows, and sun exposure — not square footage alone. We discuss these factors during your assessment.

Should I replace my furnace and AC together?

If both systems are aging, replacing them together can simplify installation and help the components work as a matched system. If only one is failing, we can help you decide whether a staged replacement makes sense.

Do heat pumps work well in Denver's cold winters?

Modern cold-climate heat pumps can heat efficiently at low outdoor temperatures, though performance depends on the equipment and your home's insulation. We discuss realistic expectations for your situation.

Maintenance & air quality

How often should HVAC maintenance be done?

Most Denver homes benefit from one heating tune-up and one cooling tune-up per year. We can set a reminder so it doesn't slip past you.

Will a tune-up lower my energy bills?

Cleaning coils and verifying airflow helps the system run more efficiently, which can reduce run times and energy use. The size of the effect depends on the system's starting condition.

What can I do about dry Denver air in winter?

Many Denver homes benefit from added humidity in winter for comfort and to reduce static and dryness. We can discuss whole-home humidifier options compatible with your furnace.

Can filtration help during wildfire season?

Higher-efficiency filtration can reduce fine particulate from smoke indoors. We can recommend filter options and discuss whether your system can support them.
